Thanks for the great review! You´re working on so many features… I never used LR Elements, but I used to work on graphic projects in PS (Traditional) that would run into the hundreds of DPI. I used Photoshop Elements for quick proofing, but I had to “cut” that project from my workflow, not having enough time for photoshop anyways. SO.. In my opinion, the PS product is awesomly improved. I´m looking forward to the product. Please do so to Image Magic to let them know. I recommend PS for $70 – $100. The money should be the right price for a true professional, but unfortunately, most people look at the price tag and then go for the cheapest pix. So by aniway, go for the PS. You´ll regret mostly the money that you spend. But if you do it on purpose, you´ll be pro. Sorry I´d been a bit negative toward the post

I’m a seasoned photographer who owns literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of photographic equipment. I’m also a lifelong fan of the Adobe suite of products, including my first Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop Elements. All my loyal files are stored in my main software; even though the app does auto-backup as soon as you open the program.

But the way the program updates does seem slow at times but not enough for me to even consider the app half-broken. I like the new way of opening a project but I wonder if that’s not just a one-off issue. Anyway, the author wasn’t given any media to work with in the review and that’s always a concern.. fewer people will read this review without media to compare.
